SYNOPSIS
In the wake of the October 7th Hamas attack, 16-year-old Dar returns to her devastated kibbutz, Nir Oz, in search of her missing dog, Shula. As she walks through ruins and meets survivors, Dar navigates her own grief and trauma, as she encounters voices torn between vengeance and forgiveness. Filmed in late October 2023, and featuring performances by survivors of the attack, Of Dogs and Men, transcends politics to offer a reflection on the pain caused by conflicts around the world.
