SYNOPSIS:
Esther is at the end of her career as head seamstress at the Dior Avenue Montaigne workshop in Paris. One day, her handbag is stolen in the metro by 20 year old Jade. Instead of calling the police, Esther takes Jade under her wing, seeing in her the opportunity to pass on her skills. In the frenetic world of Haute Couture, Esther will give Jade a la BeautA(C) du Gestea , a way to reach beyond herself. The film is an homage to the city of Paris, as well as a meditation on personal purpose.
