An evening with Shaylee Atary
Last year, the HKJFF dedicated our Festival to filmmaker Yahav Winner who was murdered in the Hamas attack on kibbutz Kfar Aza in October 2023.

This year we are honored to be joined in person by his widow, and fellow filmmaker, Shaylee Atary. Shaylee will discuss her life in Israel and present her latest film Single Light, the story of a woman who’s “light has gone out” following a sexual assault by a fellow student from her music school.
