SYNOPSIS:

Henrietta Szold was one of the most influential yet under-recognized American Jewish women of the 20th century. She co-founded Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization, and established Hadassah Hospital in Palestine, committed to treating Arabs and Jews equally. She later led Youth Aliyah, rescuing 11,000 Jewish children from Nazi Europe. Directed by Peabody Award winner Abby Ginzberg, this documentary is a long-overdue portrait of a visionary whose compassion and leadership changed history.
