SYNOPSIS: Against the backdrop of 1970’s Germany, Rosenthal follows the true story of Hans Rosenthal, a beloved Jewish television game show host preparing for a live broadcast on November 9th—the 40th anniversary of Kristallnacht. While much of Germany seeks to bury its Nazi past and many German Jews try to remain unnoticed, a younger generation begins demanding that history be confronted openly.
